
The Anne Arundel County Trust for Preservation sponsors a small grant program to further historic preservation and archaeological research in Anne Arundel County.
Guidelines for Requests for ACT Grants
Projects must be relevant to the Anne Arundel County Trust for Preservation’s (ACT) mission:
“Which includes activities to preserve, restore, maintain, and operate pre-historical, historical, aesthetic, and cultural properties, buildings, fixtures, furnishings, and appurtenances pertaining in any way to historical significance in Anne Arundel County from its earliest times and to promote interest in and study of these subjects.”
-The primary focus of the grant must be Anne Arundel County.
-Requests are typically up to $2,000.
-Cost sharing or matches are encouraged but not required.
-Grants may be submitted at any time during the year and a response will usually be given within one calendar month.
-Decisions on grant projects are made on a case-by-case basis by the ACT Board of Directors.
-The support of ACT must be acknowledged in any promotional material or final product, including the use of the ACT logo seen above, whenever possible.
